The Bananaverse

I watch Lost and this season as one of the Delta Park Project’s research interns I figured it would be helpful to liveblog my thoughts. First of all, the episode description from Lostpedia: Locke’s mission off the island as Jeremy is revealed.

So here goes! I scribble these as I watch so I claim no coherency. It wouldn’t even make sense to anyone who doesn’t watch the show already and yeah, if you haven’t seen tonight’s episode, Thar Be Spoilers Ahead. Yarr.

* I remember dying. Oh THAT will go over well.

* Is that where/when Benry was when he broke the wheel?
* OMG I got straight info from the show! It’s Tunisia! Is he in Tatouine? (It’s a real place!)
* A truck full of dudes hauls him off? Weird.

* Ben made Chucky leave? Weird.

* So now we know a bit about when we are NOW. They’ve been back three years.
* Why does Chucky care that they lied?
* A war coming? Between who and who? For what?
* It looks really sunny where they are. I’m hating him a smidge right now. BRR!
* I like that he keeps with the “theme”.
* New name, new money, here’s where everybody is…hmm.
* Still why does it matter?
* How come Sayid is all Habitat For Humanity now?
* Chucky seems to know SO much about the Island for a guy who appears not to have been there for a long time.
* How does he know the Island needs Locke?
* Abaddon freaks me out a little.
* Does time travel have something to do with how the Wishing Box on the Island works?

* Is this an alternate reality? Or before he came back and hooked up with Hurley?
* Because it bugged me I paused and looked up Nadia (Mrs Sayid). She was murdered apparently by someone working for Chucky which is why he went to “work” for Ben.
* “Why do you really need to go back? Is it just because you have nowhere else to go?” Interesting theory Sayid.
* I like that Sayid is trying to do good in the world.
* Now it’s New York. Hi Town Car!
* Helen Norwood?
* WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALT!
* Sweet and Sour Jebus. Are you frakking kidding me!?
* Walt says “What happened?” WALT!?
* Wow, that was actually some tact John. Good.
* I am liking this moment. Nice. I still can’t get over Walt!
* OMG BENRY! Will he be after Walt now?
* I wonder about the dreams he had too.
* Lately I haven’t thought much about the LOSTies we’ve missed over time. Claire, Boone, Michael, Walt, and I don’t know who else.
* Santa Rosa. Hurley’s painting Egypt?
* “I see you didn’t make it.” heh.
* I love that Hurley has no idea this is real. AWEsome.
* Wait. What?

* Is Sun somehow maninpulating this behind the scenes too?

* That was…sudden.
* Is he really dead? Can you take him to the Island and clear it all up?
* That looks like a serious accident…..but John’s ok I’m sure.
* #OFFTOPIC: Those Carl’s Jr burrito ads only make me think of the crabby dance commercial.
* How’d Locke end up with Jack as his doctor?
* “We’re supposed to go back!”
* Did Jack ever meet Abaddon?
* Who would stop Locke?
* Your father says hello?
* He wasn’t Sawyer’s father?
* On the one hand I feel bad for Locke because this has to suck for him.
* On the other hand I feel bad for Jack too.
* Nice touch, writing the note. Helps fill in what we already know.
* WOW. I guess I never figured Locke would have to try THIS hard to kill himself.
* I’m sad to see him go even if it’s temporary.
* OMG Benry.
* Wait. Benry said “I’m watching all of them.” NOT “I’m watching all of YOU.” Why?
* Benry killed Abaddon?
* Now I have to wonder. Benry wants Locke to lead, Chucky wants Locke to lead, do they realize they are violently agreeing?
* OMG IT WAS BENRY I WAS RIGHT!
* I wonder how much it would upset Benry and Chucky to know they agree. Is it because he’s supposed to lead different groups?
* What is it he’s supposed to lead? Others? Richard? WHAT?
* I wonder who else booked a ticket. And why Jack went to SYDNEY.
* Why did Benry do it? I really have to wonder.
* Is he THAT against Locke leading? Is he that against Jack getting back because that might help Widmore? I’m still having a hard time understanding this.
* PuhLEAZE! CSI is more than 3 years old. He HAS to know it’s gonna look staged.
* Oh so THAT is who Carlos and Notta-Lucia are. Hmm.
* But if that’s the case then they aren’t in the same time as Locke? How are they going to sync up?
* Isn’t getting everyone on the same timeline a really good idea?
* I wonder how Benry got beat up. Still.

I am about to fall asleep and in fact have a couple of times already so I’m going to leave it here for now, the rough draft of my thoughts in the meantime until I can post something more coherent.
