I watch Lost and this season as one of the Delta Park Project’s research interns I figured it would be helpful to liveblog my thoughts. First of all, the episode description from Lostpedia: Locke takes on the burden to stop the island’s increasingly violent shifts through time. Meanwhile, Ben hits a roadblock in his attempt to reunite the Oceanic 6 and bring them back to the island.

So here goes! I scribbled these as I watched them so I claim no coherency. It wouldn’t even make sense to anyone who doesn’t watch the show already and yeah, if you haven’t seen tonight’s episode, Thar Be Spoilers Ahead. Yarr.

Previously on LOST: (Things and stuff, stuff and things.)
* If it’s supposed to be now, why aren’t ANY of them using iPhones? Not ONE? These are phones from before they left!
* Ji Yeon is an adorable little girl.
* Found a friend huh? Is Sun keeping him forever and ever?

* I wonder who is responsible for the broadcast of the numbers they are hearing? Is it a Dharma broadcast?
* Did Danielle ever talk with Jin on the island? What was that like?
* Did Danielle skip about in time as well? That would explain why 16 years passed but she aged about 25.
* Is this how they get killed? Is Jin blamed? Is that why his “camp” (when they first got there) set her off?

* And yeah this is how they all get it I’m pretty sure.

* So we don’t get to know what happened to them? NOT FAIR.
* Poor Jin he’s at this alone. He got water though, that’s good!
* It’s the Tail-ies camp? I’m not certain it’s his.
* Violin, music box, crate of explosives, suitcases, dead bodies…
* Whaaaaaaaat? Why his Notbert telling her Smokey is a security system for the temple? Is that true? Or even possible?
* This can’t be much later, she’s still knocked up.

* I wonder if there is a third group that is in sync themselves.
* It’s nice to see Sawyer actually happy for a moment. He looked truly pleased to see Jin.
* “Where’d that guy come from?” Didn’t the Freighties ever see Jin?
* Out with it Red!
* Uh huh. AND he called her Red. Heh.
* Oh I think she damn sure wants it to go off.
* So Kate bailed with Aaron, Sayid walked off unhappy with Benry AND Jack, and Sun and Benry are on some adventure now? Hm.
* She speaks Klingon? TOO? Dude.
* So now they are all taking it pretty hard. Oh noes.
* And there’s the first Sawyer nosebleed.
* What is she telling him???
* This place is death? But we don’t know that. What if her coming back fixes it?
* I still wonder why two in a row like that. Is it just gonna get weirder from here?
* “Sun I’m sorry.” For being a tool. For not having a clue. For letting this yo-yo string me along.
* OK so WTF did you do? Tell us! Give me ONE example of how you did something to make life better for them or their friends or whatever.

* If there’s no Orchid just wait a flash or two and voila!
* I wonder why she knows they’ll “find it at the well”. Because she remembered that from being very small and living on the island?

* Orchid Station is next to the temple? No it’s next to the well. Like she said. Is the well where the donkey wheel is?
* She’s been here before? I’m shocked.

* How did she get off the island with only her mum?

* That thing to tell him is she had a brother. We know Damon and Carlton love Star Wars.
* She thinks the man was him? Was she there when Doctor Mister Chang-dle-wax was there? That’s when Daniel was there. And why was he there at that time anyway?
* Sending Locke into a giant mysterious hole in the ground. I feel like we’ve been here before. (:
* How can he promise that? Because he’s lying?
* I am sorry for Jin right now. He also got really interesting in a hurry.
* Where would be the fun in that!? I like Locke a little better this season.
* Oh noes!! What if there’s no well where they end up?
* Wait, the light comes from the well?
* And down he goes. OW!
* Hey look, no well when they are now. Joy.
* Hi Charlotte, can you tell me more about the scary man who is Daniel now?
* Is she dead or is she just “gone”?
* Is that what happened to Locke? He’s in the coffin but not dead just “gone”?
* OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW
* I did NOT need to see that. Just like I didn’t need to see Sawyer’s foot thorn thing.
* It’s Richard!
* Nope. WTF?
* I’m here to help you the rest of the way?
* So he’s still in the hole just that the well is closed up? That’s good.
* Good point Jacob Christian! Listening to Benry never did nobody any good.
* I wonder if Jacob Christian ever had dealings with Widmore.
* I wonder if my snarky “Jacob Christian” has something to it since the initials are JC. Those initials seem familiar…
* Now that he’s ready can’t you help him out a little? Last I checked you were a frakking DOCTOR.
* Donkey Wheel, anyone?
* What does it control exactly?
* If it threw Benry 10 months ahead where will it take Locke?
* Locke doesn’t know who’s his son? Oh I guess not…
* Note: name on van unscrambles to “reincarnation”
* Ben you miserable jerk. “I went to see him.”
* What about Kate? Right now Ben’s odds of reuniting the O6 when he only has 2 are not so hot.
* So we were right, Eloise Hawking=Daniel’s mum.
* It’ll have to do? Will it do at all? Why did she need all 6?
* She seems really calm for being all “You have 70 hours TICK TOCK!”

* So who IS Charlotte’s mum? Is it Eloise? Is it the butcher Benry talked to about Locke’s body? Is it someone we don’t even know yet? Is it Claire’s mum?
* How does Locke end up in the coffin?
* Will anyone else end up being part of wtf is going on in the church?
* Why is it a church?
* Does Ellie have anything to do with any of the other nonsense we’ve seen off the island?
* Whether they share a child or not, what’s Ellie’s relationship to C-dub? (Which I think is a much more hip and now name than “Charles Widmore” ever was!)
* Does Richard have any other relationship with C-dub besides the bit we saw on the island?
* What else does Charlotte know about Dharma? Will we ever find out?
* Will we see Charlotte’s dad? Is it C-dub? Is it Jacob Christian?
* How does JC fit into the bigger picture here? Was he roped into something? Was he somehow on the island long ago too? They’ve imported other doctors (Juliet) so it’s not unheard of.
* Does Jack have some extra peculiar relationship with the island because his dad “runs” it? Has JC ever encountered C-dub?
* Does anyone else’s timeline run so randomly and weirdly? Are we going to find out what order Richard’s is in compared to everyone else’s?
* Is Benry convinced that Locke isn’t dead because of the order of his own timeline or because he knows Locke will rise in 3 days or that the Island is far enough out of sync that taking him there will wake him up?
* Does skipping through time have anything to do with why Locke can walk and Rose has no cancer on the Island? Or is it just mega radiation from Jughead?
* Still confused about the rules of the skipping: What skips and how, etc.
* We never saw any more Daniel and Charlotte so we don’t know for sure if she’s ok or not.

OK that’s it for now. So far I’m way impressed and more curious than before. Like in the old days, answering my question is awesome until it makes me ask 5 more. AHH!
