Well I just got done with Harry Potter Book Seven.

I’m not disappointed, but there was certainly a whole lot more information I would have liked.

And you might need to read the end twice so it all makes sense, because I TOTALLY missed a load of stuff the first time through.

I think it was a satisfactory ending, but I feel like I need another book, like the director’s commentary (would it be author’s commentary?) version so I can get the other bits that I feel like I’m missing out on.

I went to Karaoke tonight at Boxxes. I’m sad it’s going to end up being retarded from now on, but here goes about tonight:

I showed up, sang one song and Steven, the Karaoke Jockey announced I would be hosting this evening. OMG! I am glad I wore some good eyeliner! I looked pretty cute tonight, if I do say so myself.

I sang Sweetness (Jimmy Eat World), One Week (Barenaked Ladies), Karma Killer (Robbie Williams), at least one song I just plain don’t remember, and Out Tonight (from Rent). Plus we had a Bohemian Rhapsody Singalong where I took the mic around to everyone for them to, well, sing along!

I got good feedback on my mad hosting skills, and had a really good time. Yay me! And now it’s 2am so I need to get to sleep. I just wanted to say I had a SUPER good time tonight and that people I didn’t even know came up and told me I rocked so that was really nice. What fun! I can’t wait for next Wednesday, I think I’ll have a good time even if it is stupid (and it will be).

So show up and keep me from singing by myself! It’ll be a super good time I bet. (:

I mean really, just look at Duckie: That hair! That jacket! That prom getup! He says things like, “May I admire you again today?”

HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE JOHN HUGHES!?!?!?!

I demand retribution! I love me some John Hughes, Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, Ferris Bueller…but really, Pretty In Pink was brilliant till the end and I have thought that since the first time I saw it.

I don’t know why this is sticking in my craw currently, but hopefully that unstuck it and I can get some sleep.
