I was playing Fun With The Macro Setting on my camera, and I thought a Sausage and Mushroom thin crust pizza from Pietro’s in Milwaukie was as good a subject as any. So there you go.

Me: since all we generally get is inclement weather
Me: I propose we close the office due to sunshine.
Me: Thank you. That is all.
Boss: hahahh
Boss: “We’re sorry, Initech Technical Support is unable to take your call at this time. We are currently experiencing good weather and all agents are outside having fun. Please call back at a later time when Portland is experiencing normal weather conditions”
Boss: ill ask the phone tech to put that up
Me: YES!
Me: that’s what Im talking about.
Me: and make sure we have an up to date phone tree.
Me: to inform everyone in cases of good weather.
Me: I’m sorry, you can’t come into the office today. The sun is out.

I’m the one with the report due on space.

Not dead. Thought I’d share. I’ve been…a bit crazed lately. and between that and trying not to be a danger to myself and others, I need a minimum of one good night’s sleep. Hopefully I’ll get it now.

Am I the only one amused by the little ‘web clip’ item in Gmail that shows me recipes for spam when I’m deleting junk mail?

Not that ‘Spam Hashbrown Bake’ is inherently funny, but since looking at junk mail makes me think of junk mail that recipe looks really weird.

What they SHOULD do is have it link to like, ways to fight junk mail or something.

Anyway. Random Observation Of The Day.

So this joint made something cool. It’s called AppZapper, and it’s released today at 3 Pacific time. If they get enough people to link to it and mention it then it’ll be FREE. They’re knocking off a nickel for each mention in Blogistan. So I’m doing my part.

Basically, without being really geeky/nerdy/technical, this app is useful because due to the guts of OS X there are almost always more files than just the app folder and a pref or two. So to ACTUALLY have the ability to uninstall the WHOLE thing is super nice.

So here’s my nickel. I’d like to think it’ll be free before it’s released but I don’t know. I hope so!
