I totally forgot to write about it!

J.Ro and The Scoot and I went to see Matrix: Revolutions for my birthday. I know that J.Ro probably didn’t really care, and The Scoot knew the Big Plot Twist so he didn’t really care either, but they went with me because they knew I’d like to see it. It was a surprise-ah!

Then after the movie we went home for a bit and then we went and had Pho for dinner with The Scoot’s mom and dad.

My mom and my dad both called me too. It was nice that they did.

Once again it was back home after dinner. I had birthday cheesecake and presents. The Scoot got me a pair of shmumpfy socks that have little pockets on the bottom for warmy things and keep goo on your ankles in the night, which is nice, and he got me the Duran Duran DVD. Woo! His parents got me The Life Of Brian Special Edition and a kit with some recipes and things so I can make Christmas stuff. Then we watched some Duran Duran videos and some erasure! videos and called it an evening.

Next year since it’s a big one, I want to go to Vegas baby! We’ll have to see.

If Wil likes Storm Team coverage so much, he really ought to move to Oregon. We’ve had almost an inch of rain since midnight and since the leaves are sticking to the gutters, it’s great splashy fun for everyone. woohoo!

Anyway.

So I was telling J.Ro about this song I picked up called “Fast Food Song” by Fast Food Rockers. He asked me why it was number two, was number one “Titties Dipped In Gravy”?

Hilarity ensued.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned it, but this new BNL album is pretty good, and For You is a really nice song. Not rockin or amazing or whatever, it’s nice and I mean that in the best possible way. It’s nice.

So last night was the First Phase of My Birthday. J.Ro and I went to dinner with his mom at Red Robin, and then got me some girly clothes (a sweater and this other fuzzy shirt, and I’m wearing the sweater RIGHT NOW!) and he bought be the fuzzy shirt for my birthday present. Then we went downtown and got me fucked up. My dear friend ScotTender made me some serious beverages. Yeah. I haven’t been THAT fucked up in a long time-J.Ro has pictures of the last time, actually. Nothing incriminating, it just worked out that he was camerahappy and I was nauseous. So last night was the night of Ragin Cajun Redux. Then we came home, where I hurled some more, and flopped down in bed where I slept soundly till about 10 this morning. Then I watched some birthday cartoons, took my Birthday Suit in for a Birthday Shower, and threw my Birthday Laundry in the dryer. Now J.Ro is here to take a shower because his water is off today or something. So now I’mma go watch a birthday movie until The Scoot returns with my birthday lunch of Pizza Schmizza. Woo! I’ll be writing about the rest of it later. (:

I’m almost done.

I’ve been so busy lately I just can’t deal! I worked 4 days at 10 hours each at work, then I worked three long long days on The Niv’s movie, and then it was right back to work. Today is my last day before I get two glorious wonderful delightful days off.

One of those days happens to be tomorrow. November 16. MY BIRTHDAY!

I want there to be a big thing and stuff, but there won’t be. So much stuff is going on and everybody I know is so busy they don’t have time to do anything and I don’t have any ambition right now that isn’t spoken for so I can’t do it either. I guess it’ll just be me and my one present and my one card (my dad brought my present down and my mom mailed me a card) and that’ll be all.

I hope I don’t sound like I’m feeling sorry for myself or whatever, cuz I’m not, I’m just kind of bummed because there’s so little time in my life where just being me is a big deal, and my birthday should be one of those days. Maybe I’m supposed to be old enough now that it isn’t supposed to still matter to me, but it does. After the last year or so I feel lucky that there’s anyone left around here to even speak to me.

Of course, part of it is just crankitude since I’ve had no break, and part of it is just that this is one of those two days a month where my hormones suddenly break free and stage this emotional insurrection that throws me all out of whack. Tomorrow I should be better, though. At least I will get to sleep in.

I really need to update more. Blah!!! How am I going to remember The Best Years Of My Life when I can’t even remember to write this junk down now? Good Lord. Anyway…

So, if I don’t want to dress like Christina Aguilera, and I don’t want to dress like my mom, wtf other options are there? I’m feeling like I should be girlier, but I wish to do so on my own terms. Is it so wrong that I don’t want to look like a hooker or an about to be retired grade school teacher? I mean, honestly.
